Cross-Country in St. Martin am Tennengebirge
During your winter holidays in St. Martin, the active village in Salzburger Land, you have over 30 km of easy-to-moderate cross-country trails to choose from.
And your Nordic-style skiing enjoyment can begin right here in the center of St. Martin.
In magnificent weather, and on cross-country trails that are beautifully maintained and freshly tracked every day, you can ski along a broad network of trails that take you from St. Martin to Lammertal.
Whether you prefer the sportier “skating” style or to use “classic” technique: The ski trails in St. Martin and Lammertal have something perfect in store for everyone. Gentle slopes alternate with challenging climbs through forests blanketed deep in snow.
Sun-worshipers enjoy powering along the scenic alpine trails with views of the Tennengebirge and Dachstein Massif.
Rookie XCers, for their part, take advantage of the flatter sections of the Gögl Loipe, for example. Once you have warmed up on the easier stages, the easy climbs on this route offer you the opportunity to start clocking your first vertical gains on cross-country skis.
